Donji Žirovac is located in the municipality Dvor, in Sisak-Moslavina County at an elevation of 198 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.90 km² (0.73 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 45 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Serbs. Nearby places: Čavlovica, Komora, Brezovo Polje, Ostojići, Gornji Žirovac, Gvozdansko, Brubno, Majdan, Ljeskovac and Kobiljak.
