Banje Selo is located in the City of Sveti Ivan Zelina, in Zagreb County at an elevation of 120 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 4.62 km² (1.78 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 106 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (98%), but also Serbs (2%). Nearby places: Laktec, Hrebinec, Bukevje, Glavničica, Štakorovec, Stančić, Križevčec, Prozorje, Donje Dvorišće and Drenčec.
