I am Anthony John Protich, born in Blato, 1958, Island of Korcula, birth name Antun Protic-Gardenal. I am the second son of Antun Protic-Gardenal & Nives Mara Protic-Gardenal (nee Zuvela). Vojka married my great uncle Jakov Protic-Gardenal and sailed to the US of A to start a new life with him. In Australia my immediate family goes by the surname "Protich". My cousins in Australia go by the surname "Protic". In the US my relatives all go by the name "Gardenal".
